CARING FOR YOUR SILK LAB PILLOWCASE

A Silk Lab pillowcase can be hand washed OR machine washed!

Handwash

Use a “delicate” pH neutral liquid detergent designed for silk / wool. Do not leave to soak. 

Machine wash

Turn inside out, and machine wash on Cool setting, delicates or silk setting with a pH neutral liquid detergent.  We recommend using a delicates mesh bag. Do not use bleach, whitening stain removers, or fabric softeners, enzyme containing detergents

Drying

Hang or line dry in the shade. Do not wring out. Do not tumble dry as this may cause shrinkage.  Silk dries quickly in the air!

Dry Clean

Silk products can be dry-cleaned if required but no trichloroethylene should be used.

Ironing

Wrinkles in silk often relax and drop out over a few days and can be smoothed with your hands!

Our siłk pillowcases can be ironed on a low heat setting inside out whilst still slightly damp, or steamed with a hand held steamer.
